Corrivo Building Products, metal flashing manufacturers, moved its fabrication of insulated gutters to a new site in response to the increased demand for more energy-efficient products. Now, as part of its continued investment and staff welfare programme, its added a leading clean air system.

“Creating dust is part of the production process for manufacturing insulated gutters,” says Scott Quig, National Sales Manager at Corrivo. “That’s why we called in health and safety experts, Ultra Protect to create a system to ensure clean air in our new manufacturing facility.”

After a factory visit, Rob Whitcomb, Director at Ultra Protect, recommended a comprehensive set of measures to tackle the dust including Drager air feed masks, dust extraction units, dust monitors, and on-tool extraction systems.

Rob was impressed with the team at Corrivo. He says: “Safety and welfare in a workplace should always be the first concern, and it is always inspiring to see companies embody this ethos. Scott from Corrivo contacted us about the dust at the new premises and they were quick to get started.

“Corrivo took all our recommendations on board and quickly moved for us to install the safety equipment. Even better, their whole team took the subsequent training seriously, resulting in full implementation. This level of commitment to safety is a pleasure to witness.”
