Corrivo comes of age
Corrivo, fabricator of bespoke metal roofing products, has come of age as it celebrates its 21st birthday.
The company started in 2000, the same year as the first episode of Big Brother aired on Channel 4, the London Eye took on its first paying passengers, and Corrivo’s Office Administrator Kenan was born.
Since then, Corrivo has continued to manufacture flashings and gutters with fast turnaround times and the team has now grown from four to 25.
“When Corrivo started, we had just four factory staff and one bending machine,” says Paul Foster, Managing Director at Corrivo Building Products.
“Our team has now grown to 25, and Kenan, our Office Administrator, was born the same year we started! We now operate from our facility in Burton, after outgrowing our old Swadlincote factory six years ago. Since moving, the acceleration of our growth has been impressive.
“Our business model has always been to offer fast turnaround times so customers can rely on us for good levels of service and the new factory increased our floor space by 300 percent, so we could continue to do this on a much bigger scale.
“We’ve also got plans to expand our existing factory in 2022, which will give us the opportunity to grow even further. Our move to Burton has showed the benefits of increasing capacity and the new plans give us further chance to improve our service levels by continuing to offer fast turnaround times, helping make life easier for roofing contractors.”
